Oak or bamboo

Same secure hold. Two different materials, for two different priorities.

Why two ranges

We started with solid oak. You asked for something more accessible — so we built bamboo alongside it.

Both ranges share the exact same engineering: the same secure grip, the same fixing kit, the same no-fall hold. What's different is the material, and what that means for how it looks on your wall.

The showpiece

Solid oak

Every oak mount starts as a single piece of solid oak, hand-shaped from raw timber in our Gironde workshop. Because it is cut from whole wood rather than assembled from smaller pieces, no two mounts are quite the same — the grain is unique to that one piece of tree, and it only deepens with age.

For the board you actually love: the one that deserves to be looked at, not just stored.

The everyday option

Bamboo

Bamboo, built to exactly the same design as the oak. It costs less for two reasons: the material is laminated from smaller pieces rather than cut from one solid block, and the wood is softer, which makes both the cut and the whole build simpler. It does exactly the job you need it to do — floor space back, board held safely, nothing superfluous.

What it does not try to be is a showpiece. If function comes first, bamboo gets it done, simply and well.

Still not sure?

Ask yourself one question: is this mount going to be part of your decor, or just doing a job out of sight? If it's decor, go oak. If it's a job, bamboo will do it just as safely, for less.
